Cretan artist Born at Anogeia, Mylopotamos, Crete, Greece in 1929 Son of Γιώργη or Γιώργος Μανουράς where his took his first lesson in Cretan Lyre playing at the age of 15, arounf 1945. He started playing professionaly in 1965 at Ερωτόκριτος night Club at Herakleion Crete. Between the period 1972 - 1982 he gave live performances in Athens and all over the world, where there were Greeks. His attention to detail in his unique playing, along with a series of old tunes that he learned from his father granded him a position at the Cretan Pantheon of artists.
