Lee Brown Coye (July 24, 1907 – September 5, 1981) was an American artist known for black-and-white interior art and cover paintings for pulp magazines such as Weird Tales. His art frequently featured a lattice pattern of wooden sticks. Coye won the World Fantasy Award for Best Artist in 1975 and 1978.Coye wrote a column called "Chips and Shavings" for the "Mid-York Weekly" newspaper between 1964 and 1970.
