Americo Gomez
Singer of norteño and conjunto music born June 26, 1922, in Monterrey, Mexico. Gomez spent his music career cutting records in both Texas and Chicago, Illinois and eventually went on to host the successful Chicago television show "El Muchacho Alegre" for a number of years.
