Patrícia Mello

Real name: Ana Patricia Oliveira de Melo

Brazilian singer, songwriter and writer from Teresina, Piauí.

In Teresina, her hometown, she studied singing and acoustic guitar. In 2004, she changed the stage name from Patrícia Mello to Patrícia Mellodi.
She composed the musical score for the children's play "Beijo Roubado", directed by Márcio Trigo, based on the book by Thalita Rebouças.
As a writer, she launched the humor newspaper "A Marmota" and the first book "Chronicles, tales and jokes" and participated in the humor collection "Dez contos de Humor", by Editora Mirabolante, organized by Marcio Paschoal. In 2011, she received from the Governor Wilson Martins the "Medal of the Order of Merit Renascença do Piauí", the highest commendation of the State. In 2014 she won the "Pauta Cultural Award - Lena Rios Trophy", which honors artists representing Piauí art every year.
