Founded in 1963 the Erzgebirgsensemble is an incorporation of several artists and folkloristic groups from the Erzgebirge (Ore Mountains).The ensemble is very popular for its live performances at Christmas markets of the region. It contains several sub-ensembles like Berghoboistenkorps or Bergsänger. They perform in different constellations.
