Stomp & Weaver

Real name: Stomp & Weaver

Effective period / Period of releases: 1996 - 1999

Members: Stomp, Weaver

Stomp & Weaver hail from the East Midlands and are brothers with a long history in music. Their music production started in the early 90s, focusing on DNB Jungle, Rave, Deep House and Jungle Techno (J-Tek). Stomp & Weaver tunes would regularly feature on the John Peel show, plus they had support from many DJs in the Drum & Bass and Jungle community.
Stomp was working as a DJ from 1990 in the Rave scene, so it wasn't long before his younger brother followed suit.

After honing their skills in their studio around 1993, the natural progression was to start a label. Lab Logic Records was born in 1995 after their first two releases on Rebellious Records & FT Recordings. Other artists to feature on Lab Logic include Double O (007) and L Double.

Stomp & Weaver had numerous releases on Drum & Bass labels such as Hard Leaders, Flex Records, Mix n Blen, Rinse Out, Wide Open Music and more.

More recently, Stomp, who also goes under the alias of Modular, was a pivotal player in the J-Tek sound in 2007 alongside Outrage. They started J-Tek Records pushing a revamped Jungle Techno sound, supported by producers and DJs such as Tango & Ratty, Randall, Digital and more.
