Formed in 1988, and originally a duet composed of Thörgammaton Blackvomit (who later became Vordb) and Vortëx (later A.D.), it was soon completed by a session drummer, Isa, allowing the recording of 'Prayers in Nothingness' (originally misspelled 'Prays in Nothingness'). They played a mix of thrash and death metal with a touch of heavy metal, and influences from Morbid Angel (quite obvious considering the band's name), Poison (Germany), Sarcofago, Sepultura, Kreator, Destruction, Mercyful Fate, Coroner, and even Voïvod!
