Died May 5, 1988 (67 years of age) in Los Angeles, California, USA.
He was married to British singer Phyl Farfel.
He played with the Billy Cotton And His Band. He was frequently the soloist during television appearances of the band. He appeared in four Royal Command Performances.
Farfel also collaborated with drummer Bobby Worth from 1966-1968. Farfel moved to America once the band disbanded.
