Canadian musician, singer, songwriter, producer and record company executive from Peace River, Alberta. Moved to Oregon as a child in the 1950s and while in the US released one single in 1964. Returned to Canada in the 1970s as news director for CBC Calgary then CBC Toronto. In 1976 he joined The Mercey Brothers' stable of artists on MBS. In 1983 moved to Nashville to further his recording and songwriting career. After some time working in A&R for Step One Records he was appointed head of Southwing Publishing Co. in 1987.
