German chorus master, founder and director of Ensemble Officium, studied organ, conducting and singing at the conservatories in Karlsruhe and Mannheim. His experience in ensembles led by personalities like Frieder Bernius, Thomas Hengelbrock, Hermann Max and Roger Norrington has proved an important source of inspiration for his own work as choir and ensemble director. He is „Kantor“ at the Kath. Universitäts- und Stadtpfarrkirche St. Johannes in Tübingen.
