Started off as two men piece for the first track released ("Let There Be Rock" which featured a second MC who would release a track as Dark Heart two years later) but went on solo from the first 12" released. Got a record deal with Island Records who then also created a sublabel for Overlord X and other X-Possee members, Mango Street. A third album, called “Mind Of A Menace” was recorded but remained unreleased when Island dropped the Mango Street sublabel in 1992 and Benjamin Balogun decided to end his career as Overlord X as the scene developed.
