Members: Kim Salmon, Neil Fernandes, Ken Seymour, Mark Betts (2), Robert Porritt
First band of Kim Salmon, from Mount Lawley, Perth, Western Australia. Cheap Nasties formed in the summer of 1976. The band played its last show in December 1977. Next, in the early months of 1978, Kim Salmon formed the short-lived The Invaders which by the Spring of 1978 had evolved into The Scientists. The other members of Cheap Nasties formed Manikins.
