Argentine folk singer and musician (Santiago del Estero, September 25, 1955 - La Banda, October 25, 1991) As a good santiagueño he sang and danced from a very young age. Already in his youth, Cuti Carabajal related him to Horacio Guarany, his lifelong idol, who named him "Jacinto Piedra" and made possible his first solo recording. Jacinto and Peteco Carabajal formed "Santiagueños" band that brought folk music to Argentinians youngers.
