German classical double-bass player born 1938 in Leipzig. Since 1963 she was the wife of the conductor Kurt Sanderling.
In 1961 she became the first double bassist in Germany at the Berliner Sinfonie Orchester. Sanderling was there until 1986 engaged as a 2nd solo double bassist.
