Real name: Dr. Goronwy Wynne

Goronwy Wynne is a noted biologist by profession and author of the Flora of Flintshire, but he is also passionately interested in the Welsh language and culture and has compiled a guide, written in Welsh, about the spoken Welsh of Flintshire.
He is also associated with Trelawnyd Male Voice Choir having served his apprenticeship as a singer in the tenor section during the 1950s. He was later to become the choirs fourth conductor, taken over the baton from 1970 to 1981.
