Nightmare Council is an experimental metal band, formed in Tampa, Florida USA, during July 2015, by Don Gates, Randy Dewitt, and Keith Suchland, following Don's exit from Brutality.

Originally a trio, the group released one single before expanding to include Bryan Stephens and Bruce McDowell (former members, along with Don and Randy of an unreleased project, Devil's Glitch).
Though these five make up the band's core, they consider it to be more of a collective, with various semi-permanent and guest members, depending on the song/release.
