The Kanawha Singers was a male vocal quartet from West Virginia, named after the Kanawha River. Members were Arthur Herbert (2) (1st tenor), Alex Mason (2) (2nd tenor), Neil Evans (6) (baritone and arranger), Jesse Phillips (2) (bass).

Between 1927 and 1929, the quartet recorded more than two dozen titles for Brunswick. One of their songs was reissued in the early 1930s on the Canadian Aurora (11) label under the name Archie Ruff's Singers (2).
