Jack Thompson (born Gore 1908) was one of New Zealand's most popular pianists from the 1950's & 1960's.He made over 25 LP's (not counting 78's, 45's, ep's) for HMV/EMI NZ over the years. His last album was 'Live at the Russley' recorded in 1970. He passed away in 1979 aged 71.
