Soul - pop - singer - songwriter - producer. Born Baltimore, Maryland 1950.
Ex-lead singer of the The Miracles after Smokey Robinson parted. Wrote and sang lead on the platinum single "Love Machine" and on the classic single "Hold Me Tighter In The Rain." Producer of boy band Take That. Wrote and produced their first million seller "I Found Heaven". Brother of session guitarist Donald Griffin.
