Effective period / Period of releases: 1968 - 1970

Danish childrens cartoon character created by Hanne Hastrup in 1957 but famed when Hastrup with animator husband Jannik Hastrup created 18 animated shorts for DR childrens television in the late 60's. The soundtracks with melodies by Hans-Henrik Ley also became a childrens classic i Denmark in the late 60's and early 70's. Songs were released in 1968 on the EP Cirkeline, a second EP in 1970, Klodsmus (Eller Prinsessen Der Ikke Ku Li Ost), and finally on an LP in 1973, Cirkeline.
The voice of Cirkeline was by Linda Ley and Nanette Hastrup, the daughters of Hanne Hastrup and Hans-Henrik Ley.
