The Sheppards

Effective period / Period of releases: 1955 - 1956

Chicago South-Side doo-wop band, released recordings on Theron and United labels. Not to be confused with later group The Sheppards who recorded for Vee-Jay and Apex. Both groups were, however, named for the same manager, Bill "Bunky" Sheppard.

Members include:

James Denis "Brother" Isaac - First Tenor
Oscar Boyd - Second tenor
Georges Parker - Baritone
