Real name: Dudley A. Bernard

Cajun musician, vocalist, guitarist, songwriter, radio personality and politician from Louisiana, USA. He formed his first band, the Southern Serenaders, in 1945 after leaving the Army. In addition to Bernard, the band included Vin Bruce and Leroy Martin. He frequently collaborated with his son Wade Bernard.
