Ervin Charles
Blues guitarist and singer, born in January 3, 1932 in Port Barre, Louisiana. He moved to Beaumont, Texas as a teenager where he began to play blues with Long John Hunter as the duo the Hollywood Bearcats.
Charles stopped playing professionally in the 1950s but returned to performing in 1995. He died in Houston, Texas on April 1, 2000, age 68. His only album was released posthumously.
