Real name: Γιάννης Παπαϊωάννου

Greek artist, active in the Athens underground scene. In the mid-1980s he was vocalist and keyboard player with dark electro post-punk band Rehearsed Dreams, who released a full-length album on Creep Records (2) in 1985. In 1992 he set up the Elfish label with Makis Faros, with whom he also formed Raw (8), an electronic duo that recorded three albums (the third remains unreleased).
From 1996 onwards he records and produces as ION (6).
