Singer of Kabyle expression born in 1968 in Algiers, where she grew up. Malika Yami is originally from Ath El Kaid, in the region of Ouadhias, in Kabylia. She released her first album "Machi d'ghna" in 1991, then continued with "Ayafrouxiw" (1993) and "Ayouliw" (1995). She produced a last album in 2000, "Ezzarv".
She has also collaborated with famous voices of Kabyle music, such as Matoub Lounès, Ait Menguellet, Cherif Kheddam and Farid Ferragui.
