Real name: Ken Matthews

Ken Matthews was a signaller serving in the British Royal Signals in Singapore when he released his single - playing pop concerts and being played on the radio. After returning home to the UK ( after a spell serving in Germany ), he eventually became an electrical engineer and computer hardware engineer for DIGITAL ( DEC ). He went on to install and service computers in Nuclear Power Stations, Hydro Electric Power Stations, Ministry of Defence installations and also worked on Electronic Random Number Indicator Equipment or EARNIE which chose premium bond winning numbers. In later life he became interested in Photography, especially Natural History and was a member of Sale Photographic Society.
He died 30th December 2015 at midnight after a relatively short battle with cancer leaving his wife and son and daughter.
He never lost his sense of humour and always sang or whistled - he is sadly missed by friends and family.
