Lo Rwa Kaf, whose real name is Gérose Barivoitse, was a Maloya singer and Storyteller from La Réunion Island, in the southwestern Indian Ocean, born November 18, 1921 in Sainte-Suzanne and died July 26 2004 in Sainte-Suzanne (La Réunion island). He was a recognized interpreter of the traditional Maloya as well as a storyteller. He recorded two albums, Lo Rwa Kaf - Somin Galisé in 1992 and Lo Rwa Kaf - Tradition Maloya in 1997.
