Urublues was founded by Ufes students, in 1988, and the band ended up becoming the oldest in the state still active in 2008, it turned 20 and was also the first musical group in Espírito Santo to choose the blues as raw material of his repertoire, which gave him the title of "Father of the capixaba blues".
