German singer and actor (born April 15, 1936 in Witten, Westphalia). He studied piano, singing and music theory at the Conservatoire before completing his eight-year studies with a final exam. In addition, however, he had studied acting, and so it happened that he passed his second final exam with Gustaf Gründgens in Dusseldorf. Very soon he was hired by the Städtische Bühnen Gelsenkirchen to play hero roles. He also sang Schlager and western songs under the artist name Ringo Reinhard.
