Johnny Claes
English jazz trumpet player, born 1916 in London, died February 3, 1956 in Brussels, Belgium.
Having worked much in the Netherlands and Belgium in the late 1930s, Claes settled in Belgium in the late 1940s and abandoned the music profession for a career as racing driver.
