Real name: Conrad Oberon Johnson

Saxophonist, composer, music teacher and director of the legendary Kashmere Stage Band. One of Houston's greatest Jazz educators, had played in local jazz/rhythm and blues groups in the late 40's/early 50's with recordings on Freedom Recording Co., and Gold Star, notably with Goree Carter and L.C. Williams.
Born: 1915, Victoria, Texas.
Died: February 3, 2008, Houston, Texas
