Members: Jesse Smith (2), Chris McNeal, Joshua M. Lott, Justin Snyder (2), Joshua Lott
Paper Lions got together in 2001, combining former members of two bands from Atlanta, Some Soviet Station and At the Price of the Union. In the manner of many a young twenty-first century indie rock outfit, they played tense, jagged post-punk with an attitude crossing anger with muted resignation. Their first album, The Symptom and the Sick, was released on Kindercore in 2003.
