Real name: Kent Friedman

US-born producer of goa/psy-trance and electronic music.

Kent debuted on his own label Panda Records in 1997 as Time Warped, with a limited 12" pressing. He would first use the Mind Warped moniker in conjunction with Hugh Sharpe for one track, but it thereafter became his solo project. Kent and Hugh went on to refashion themselves as Shape Shifters and played live all over North America.

In 2002, Kent returned with solo and collaborative material with fellow US psy producer and friend James Skylar, aka Deeper In Zen. In 2010, Kent joined with his longtime cohort, NYC-based psy trance DJ Hugh Sharpe, as Silicon Syndicate, with a sound tweaked between psychedelic techno and progressive house. In 2020, Kent joined Tim Robert to form the darkwave group Dream Prescription, based in New York City.
