British lyricist, adapter ("Butterfly", "A Blossom Fell"). Often associated with songwriters Cliff Adams (UK), Wilton Kullmann, Robert Puschmann, Bernd Simon (Germany), Danyel Gérard, Ralph Bernet (France). Head of TV advertising in the UK ("'Murray mints, Murray mints, too good to hurry mints"). Nicknamed "Boogie Barnes".
