Variations, like "Viennese" or "Symphonic", tend to be less legitimate entities appearing on budget labels - look at the label and the conductor credit and investigate. With 1950s low-budget US labels like Remington, the orchestra tends to be the The Tonkünstler Orchestra - especially if the conductor is someone like Kurt Wöss or George Singer.
