Kansai-based Japanese punk rock band formed in 1992/1993. Their first live performance was in July 1993 at the Banana Hall (バナナホール) live music venue in Osaka. Speaking about the group, koyukicross said on her Ameba blog that the logo was "the fusion of 'D' for devil and the wings of Angel. I create this 'D' logo, born under the circumstance that there's no evil or good but looking for peace. I want to convey this idea to the world". In an interview with record label MCR Company in 2018, she also said "that’s why DROOP had to look strange. If by watching DROOP you felt disturbed or embarrassed even just a little, that meant that our intent was fulfilled. 'Bands shouldn’t look creepy.', 'Unpleasant things shouldn’t be.' These kind of ideas were what public opinion was saying". The group disbanded in 1998.
