Nyctophiliac is solo project hailing from Skopje, Macedonia. This self-described “dark blunted jazz” incorporates thick, beefy bass lines with chunky grooves, various samples, breakbeats, loops and other subtle flourishes. All fused into one seamless, seductive sound. Heads don't even know what's happening to 'em, they just know something's happening to 'em. Trip-hop, laid back sax, a wailing trumpet, a furiously scratched record, a storm of ambient whooshes and then there's that boom bap again."
