Saudade was a black metal band based out of London, Ontario. Formed in 2014, Saudade features members Preston Lobzun on guitars and Brandon Gruber on drums, trading off vocal duties on a number of songs. Bass duties were solidified with the inclusion of Rachel Simpson who joined in summer of 2016 after the recording of the debut album. In 2022 following the release of "From Desire to Demise", the band has stated that they have broken up.
