The Quest Project, formed in 1996 by Jon Cox, Martin Wright & Marco Ferraro. Initially an instrumental downtempo, song based drum & bass band formed in 1996. The band members were located in Grimsby, Cleethorpes & London.

Signed to 4th & Broadway for a one off vinyl white label release. The 12 inch was picked up by Radio 1 show "One In The Jungle", and then playlisted for several weeks. On the strength of this and a four track demo..4th & Broadways parent company, Island Records signed them for a multi album deal.
