He wrote successful songs for Sweet Sensation (2) in the mid-70s, the most important titled "Sad Sweet Dreamer" (# 1 single in UK) and "Purely By Coincidence" (also charted), both tracks arranged and co-produced with Tony Hatch and Jackie Trent. He also performed with his own name.
