Under the artistic direction of its conductor Guillaume Bourgogne, Op.Cit explores new sonic territories where classic repertoire and improvised music overlap and dialogues with various modes of artistic expression. The musical staff is built around a jazz trio and a string quartet to which soloists from different musical genres such as jazz, electronic music and traditional music, and artists from other artistic disciplines like dance, theater, visual arts and digital arts are added.
The ensemble regulary performs for major venues and events like the Biennales de Lyon, and other festivals.
