Shoefiti was born in the late year 2000 as a project on the side of Henri d'Armancourt's main bands. He would send acoustic demos to his friends and, if they felt inspired, they would come in his studio to record their parts. In 2012, Shoefiti released its first LP Shoefiti - Only Mountains Never Meet and became an actual four piece with Henri d'Armancourt (vocals/guitar), Raphaël Tandoi (guitar), Charles Bourdon (bass/backing vocals) and Pierre-Louis Jozan (drums).

After touring and shaping its sound as a band, Shoefiti released Shoefiti - Coriolis in 2015. With a more imperfect and raw sound, the new effort was more explosive and colorful than its predecessor.

Shoefiti changed drummer in 2015 for The Psychotic Monks's Clément Caillierez which also recorded on the 2018 album Shoefiti - Fill The Silence With Your Desires.

With the release of the album Shoefiti - Fill The Silence With Your Desires, Shoefiti became a three piece live with a special setup that allowed Henri to play the guitar, the bass and sing at the same time, while Charles played bass, lead guitars and sang backing vocals. New drummer was found in the person of Lucas Lopez, already known as the ex-drummer of noise-punk band Portron Portron Lopez.

Shoefiti released their 4th album Shoefiti - CityT error on February 3rd, 2023. It included guest keyboard player Nicklaus Rohrbach who became a permanent member of the band. The album was released on Le Cèpe Records and Flippin' Freaks for the vinyle version and Influenza Records for the CD version.
