Bernard Tapie (January 26, 1943, Paris – October 3, 2021, Paris) was a French businessman, owner of sports teams, politician and occasional actor, singer, and TV host. He was the owner of German apparel brand Adidas from 1990 to 1993, a member of the French government from 1992 to 1993 and the president of Olympique de Marseille football club from 1986 to 1994. Both his business and sports ventures were often marred with legal scandals.
