Conrad Choucroun

Drummer in Austin, Texas.
Choucron was born in Houston, Texas in 1975 and began his professional musical career in the band Banana Blender Surprise. After moving to Austin to attend the University of Texas, he began playing live and recording with major-label artists such as Bruce Robison and Kelly Willis and worked as a session and live drummer. He was a freelance session drummer for multiple artists including Soulhat, The Gourds, The Damnations, and Chuck Berry.
After completing his degree, Choucron joined The Damnations full time and in 2001 Conrad relocated to New York City and played with Warren Zanes, Gavin DeGraw and several indie bands. He returned to Austin in 2004 and continued with live and session work for bands including Bruce Robison, Charlie Robison, Kelly Willis, Jon Dee Graham, The Resentments, Mike Flannigan, Denny Freeman, Steve Poltz, White Denim, Bob Schneider, Ian McLagan and The Bump Band, and NRBQ,
