A multi-instrumentalist production wizard with a love of all things psychedelic, Merlyn fuses dreamy guitars, glitchy beats and mystic atmospheres to create an inspiring adventure through tempo and genre. Fans of Tipper, Kalya Scintilla and Bwoy de Bhajan will enjoy the ancient-future aesthetic and intricate sound design that decorate Merlyn’s quirky rhythms. Merlyn Silva has released a series of albums, remixes and singles on the Danish label Sofa Beats, as well as cooking up guest mixes for Ozora Radio, Boom Radio and Psy Nation. “I like to think of my music as ‘peaktime chillout’ - groovy, spacey and occasionally a bit hectic. I’m always trying to write music that walks the line between the dancefloor and the sofa, and explores that middle zone where the music is peaceful, but still has momentum”
