CattleProd

Effective period / Period of releases: 1989

Members: Sheila Bosco, Mark Burdulis, Brent Biever

CattleProd was an indie band from the Seattle area with a taste for odd instrumentation. Their lone album, Secretly Happy, was released in 1989 by the small Community 3 label, and featured song titles like "Tongues Are Pink," "I Hate Hate," and "Satan Is Boring." The group later relocated to Madison, Wisconsin, where some of its members moved on to Headpump. Percussionist Sheila McCarthy eventually moved to New York, where she worked with Autobody and Drumhead, among others.
