American Country & Western songwriter, reciter & singer.From La Grange, Georgia.
Best known for songs "The Last Goodbye", "Chubby (Please Take Your Love to Town)", and "The Deal", all of which charted in the U.S. between 1967-1976. Miles' recitation of "The Last Goodbye" hit #17 county and #114 overall in 1968 (co-written by Kelso Herston & Bob Prather).
