Real name: Glen Akenclose

A Spanish techno producer and DJ from Newcastle Upon Tyne.

Glen previously played at many Makina events from 2007 to 2013 as DJ Excess before turning fully over to producing Spanish techno tracks in 2015.

Glen changed his name from DJ Excess to Mr Excess due to a DJ becoming world-famous as an American scratch artist under the name DJ Excess. This resulted in users struggling to find the majority of Glen's content as a producer, so he now goes by Mr Excess as his alias for music production and DJ'ing, with the unique bear wearing sunglasses as his official mascot/logo.

Mr Excess is also the current owner of UltimateBuzz.net, the Northeast's number one rave website since 2001, originally created by Daz Effect.
