Cindy Dall was a musician who recorded two albums: an untitled release Drag City (US) / Domino (UK) in 1996 and "Sound Restores Young Men" (under the name Cynthia Dall) Drag City in 2002. She has also collaborated with Bill Callahan's Smog on several Smog recordings and in live performances. In 1998 she did the vocals for a remix of "Torture Day" by The Notwist.
Cindy Dall was also a photographer. Her murder-glam aesthetic places her work firmly in the canon of other transgressive visual artists like Richard Kern and Nick Zedd.
Her self-portraits were featured frequently in Lisa Crystal Carver's Rollerderby.
She was born in 1971 and died in April 2012.
