Chuck Leonard
He began in college as a Program Director at the University of Illinois station WPGU. A pioneer among Black radio jockeys that moved into the mainstream, was the first African-American on WABC-AM, where for 14 years before moving through several New York stations like WRKS, WBLS, and WJUX.
